Currently, I convey common universal attributes into reconfigured figurative form. I'm seeking to create an emotional relationship between viewers and my works. My challenge is how can I make my work more perpetually alive.
Alive means that I would like to have pieces that bring multiple emotions, and it constantly interact with viewers. I think that emotional expression is fluid thing. Thus, friction produces emotional expression, and I am seeking the friction to make my work alive to viewers.
Permanent to me means physically, but metaphysically as well. It means not only keeping the same memories for hundred years, but also my work will be permanent when I accept change. For instance, great works are memorable, but I would like to hear new stories, which are created by viewers, derived from my work. So my work will be permanent in viewers as their own story.
